Christliche Gemeinde Waldstraße is a free and independent church. It obtains its orientation solely from the Holy Scripture, the Bible. It does not belong to any of the large churches, nor to any other organisation.

It's a place for people living in and around Werne, who experienced or seeking to experience forgiveness of their sins, peace with God and secure knowledge of their redemption by consciously turning towards Jesus Christ. By this we are connected to all those who accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour and who follow Him.

The church staff consists solely of volunteers. We do not receive church tax or demand membership fees or donations. All expenses are covered by voluntary donations. We do not have a member list. The basis is the divine principle of voluntariness.

As a church which is solely based on the Bible we dissociate ourselves from all sects. Our main purpose is to testify the redeeming message of God's Love in Jesus Christ with words and works and to give a spiritual home to all people regardless of social status or age.
